Music at Midday concert February 12th – review

BJ music at midday

Parkinson’s ACT is very grateful to the Royal Military College Band, supported by the Canberra Theatre and The Canberra Labor Club, for the two wonderful concerts last Tuesday February 12th.  This Music at Midday concert was the latest of their series where audience donations are directed to charities.  Last Tuesday’s concert was dedicated to Parkinson’s ACT.

There was a great turn-out and the enthusiastic audience showed both its appreciation for the performances and a generosity to our cause.

Thank you all.

The intention of the RMC Band, the Canberra Theatre and the Labor Club is that funds raised through the Music at Midday series benefit the Canberra Community.  For PACT that means supporting people living with Parkinson’s in our region. The concerts on 12th February raised $2,276.75 and this has been directed to help subsidise the talk by Professor Simon Lewis on 22nd February, and also the establishment of a choir.
