From informal support group meetings to carers’ coffee and picnics in the park, we’re all about community.
Support group meetings
We run two informal meetings a month to give members the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.
These are held at the SHOUT Building (Pearce Community Centre), Collett Place, Pearce ACT:
- Daytime support group meets at 10am for 10.30am on the fourth Thursday of each month.
- Evening support group meets at 6pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Carers’ coffee corner
A monthly catch up for carers of people with Parkinson’s. Catch up over coffee and share experiences, or meet guest speakers from local health and carers service organisations.
Join us on the second Thursday of the month at 2.30pm at Beaver Galleries, Dennison St, Deakin or at the SHOUT Building, Collett Place Pearce.
Women with Parkinson’s
A monthly catch up for women seeking to share their experiences of living with Parkinson’s.
Join us on the first Thursday of the month at 2.15pm at the Southern Cross Club, Macquarie (located opposite the Jamison Centre).
